If they want to rage follow all 100 or so people, that’s on them. It’s going to be worse for them than it would be for any one person individually, and if it doesn’t change their mind, at least they can torture themselves with good art and bad news for them 😹

Also if anyone wants to be removed from the list, I’m happy to. I added people I wanted to ensure I could see in a feed. Took a minute to realize I’m connected to a bunch of Threads communities & it snowballed here this month. I’ve barely been posting & people kept following. They seem ok so far.

The reason most of them follow me is because I did a thread on Threads about a bot lady that showed up, got popular overnight, and ended being a guy catfishing everyone. Everyone there was fascinated by the saga of Marta Zimin, and I share a bunch of AI news/memes

This one had a guy behind it instead of an LLM, so it was throwing people off because he was responding like a real person instead of a bot, and a lot of men wanted to believe a pretty woman likes them online 😹😹

Hahaha that explains! I do try to block the bots & suspicious folks, but with the sudden influx of people I hope I did not block anyone genuine by accident.
