I'm white, and even I was worried I'd get held up at the airport or some shit. Hell, I expected for GDC to get raided by ICE for shits and giggles. Thankfully that didn't happen. But yeah, I mean, if you have an option of coming to the US. Don't. These guys are brown shirts with badges.

I've always wanted to go to GDC but it's prohibitively expensive to attend from overseas. I was hoping to get approval from work and finally make it over this year, along with the rest of my animation team, but we ended up deciding it might be wise to stay out of the US right now :(
