I'm from Arkansas originally and most of my family still live there. It is so Trump heavy. It's Jim Jones in action. Fox news is the mainstay of households. You will unfortunately not get much traction there until people are literally starving in the streets.

What few of you there are can still rally and demand better representation. Like most red states, your districts have probably been gerrymandered to reduce the number of representatives you get in the house.

This. I’m the same way. From there but had to move away. My ex died of Covid and as maga. Until AR kids suffer more than usual, they will remain maga down there. 😢 I can’t even go back to visit family bc of it.

However, maybe this is the wake up they need. I sure would like to go home.🤞

I’m so sorry you had to go through all that… what a heavy burden to bear. The pandemic was a trying time for all (and a breaking point for many it seems).

My home state is somewhat like this as well… not a lot of diversity in culture or in thought. I couldn’t wait to get out! I hate going back.
