Yeah, monospace but no color whatsoever, because it was a Hercules monochrome display (in a luxurious shade of amber).

It was mostly Sci-Fi cityscapes and labyrynthian dungeons. Great shame I didn't think to buckup them somehow.

But I was 9 or 10, so no hard feelings, 1990s me.

I once did a little JS library for drawing 8-bit-style characters, which includes the Legacy Computing range. (The idea was that you could throw Unicode text at it and get 8×8 character matrices back, todraw it to a canvas or similar.) Maybe you can find something useful…

You can sort of convert PETSCII into UNICODE using block characters. I have written an ugly script to do that
