Abert Rim, Oregon. Camped here own the fault scarp rising 2,490' above Lake Abert, a salt lake. Rim hiking is pretty mind blowing since you'll almost always see hawks soaring off the rim cliff. There are also a large flocks of Avocets feeding on brine shrimp when they hatch in the lake.
