I’m often struck by how patient people can be when I am out with my elderly mother. More than one person wants to hold the door and make our way easier and more cheerful. I once said to my sister don’t shoo them away. They want to be kind and we can just be thankful, a good for all

I used to be a city bus driver. Seriously, folks, the VAST MAJORITY of people out there are just ordinary people trying to get through their day. There is a tiny fraction of monsters, and an equal amount of angels walking the earth. Watch for the angels. They’re worth the wait.

The chaos and the cruelty WILL explode in their faces. I still believe the vast majority of people have mostly goodness in their hearts. We're also deeply flawed, but we can work that out. I miss the days when assholes stayed hidden. Keep posting the kindness, Joanne, it's so needed right now.
