Today is National Handwriting Day. Study after study has shown that handwritten notes require your brain to process information before you write it down, and thus retention is significantly better than typed notes.
My handwriting was awful, then I practiced and it got quite good, now it's just ok.

It affected my handwriting so badly that mine now resembles the cliché of a GP's scribbled prescription.
I shall endeavour to improve as it's frustrating being unable to read my notes, or hesitate even writing cards.
As I still wrote in a basic roundstyle that I'd been taught as a child here in England , I now have a chance to reinvent myself.
