Dude I just found an awesome credit union in my area after reading this. I'm going to join as soon as I can. They're dedicated to uplifting ppl in poverty and advocate for worker coops as well. 😊✨️❤️

Leave for-profit banking institutions. Join a credit union, a not-for-profit cooperative bank owned by its customers. Credit unions tend to offer better interest rates on savings, have lower fees, and are more community-focused. Credit unions reinvest their surplus for the benefit of their members.
