i only just now realized that the one piece dub was up to egghead, nearly caught up with the subs after decades of being much further behind. i love that they gave vegapunk a goofy german accent to lean into the fact that he's just cartoon einstein

i heard rumors that the 6 month hiatus is in part due to wanting to get the dub caught up so they could start silmucasting, which makes sense considering how important English is for the one piece brand is
