16. Stay the fuck away from airbrushes. Learn to shade with hard shapes first and then learn how and when to blend shadows. Many beginner artists assume that soft shadows are inherently "realistic" and hard shadows are cartoonish. Nope. It's good to have both hard and soft shadows in paintings.

17. I wanna talk about some funny/weird advice a came around during my studies that stuck around with me.

18. Second funny advice is: if you struggle to draw breasts, imagine them as two water balloons tied around a person's neck. Funny as shit. And kinda helpful. (Image source Jazza's Anatomy Reference Pack)

19. Another thing from Jazza: Workout and build muscle. Kinda strange, but makes sense. You grow muscle, you get better grasp on anatomy, but seeing this in a paid PDF booklet was funny regardless.

20. Continuing this body stuff is something I've noticed a few years after I've started. It's kinda hard to draw opposite sex, lol. You are more experienced with your body type, so this stuff comes more naturally. Basically, don't feel bad, if you are trying to draw a new body type and fail.
