ok say I wanted a Square card reader for occasional school events that be used sporadically but intensively when so, and by a bunch of volunteers. The little square think or the terminal and what else do i need to be thinking of.

that should be enough for a small number of items tbh, and idk about the regular square app, but the Square for Retail app allows tap pay directly on the phone without a reader. I think either is free to use unless you need inventory control etc
Been through this for many events. I set everyone up with readers as they were walking around. Now, thet can enabled the reader on their phone for touchless payments. Easy breezy.
There's a square app for phones as well that people can tap and pay. If you're just wanting a stationary pay point then the terminal should be sufficient for your needs. The only other thing that would be needed is wifi.
Probably need an account and internet and data. My daughter has one for her art business. I think if you set up the account, they can also tap to pay against your phone. She also used Venmo in the beginning when amounts were small - no reader needed

I think the media and everyday Americans can work together to save our government over the next couple of weeks.
Playing short commercials during pro sports games and March Madness would be the most efficient way to reach all Americans the fastest.
What do you think?
