No, you're right, I'm not.
I'm just one voice, maybe even a useless one.
But I do see the forest through the trees.
And from where I stand, one of the U.S.'s biggest failings is thinking it knows best & not listening when the world it impacts speaks back.
Getting a Democrat government wouldn't make us trustworthy because it could shift back to MAGA Republican after 4 years. The GOP will be chained to MAGA until the GOP or MAGA
disappears.
and I'm literally telling you that we should take those out of power that are impacting the world in negative ways to earn some of that trust back. This is me literally listening to the rest of the worlds wishes. Now can you stop being a contrarian please
I didn’t say “nuh uh” I offered my perspective. If that sounds like contrarianism to you, then maybe ask why a differing viewpoint feels threatening instead of valuable.
If you’re truly listening to the rest of the world, then listen; not everything outside the U.S. is going to echo your take.
Wanting to remove oligarchs is a good step. But trust isn’t rebuilt with slogans. It takes deep systemic change & humility, neither of which happen when people get defensive the second they're challenged.
I am literally suggesting deep systematic change but OK.
And me making a suggestion for an objectively good thing, and you responding with "well that would require ___" is to suggest that it's not going to happen which is contrarian instead of just being like yeah this good thing is a good thing
