Honestly, anything can be if you feel like it’s crossing boundaries. That includes the coming from out of the area. If you feel drained or bothered with the constant need to stay at your place for long periods, then yes.

if it's your place and you feel like that's too much, I'd listen to that. same if it's your place and that's just fine to you! it would be a lot to *me*, but if they're not eating all your food, and you're cool with it, there's no problem with that

unless a landlord(?) has written limitations

i think it's something suuuper personal. like, in my case, i really need my space — it's not like i don't enjoy the idea of having someone over, but at the same time, depending on who it is, i can get extremely overwhelmed. but some people are the exact opposite...

if they're visiting from out of the country then 2+ week stays are normal. if they're local and visiting that long basically every month then they're overstaying and have practically moved in with you. charge them rent

that would be staying for me if it is every month. overstaying would be if you want the person gone but you can't get them to leave. visiting would be if its for a short while like less than a day 🤔 or non regular visits like a weekend once or twice a year

overstaying can be after any amount of time imo!! 😂 10 minutes are already too much with some people
