The paperwork Family Doctors spend a large portion of time completing is almost entirely centred around billing and *that* is managed Provincially, not Federally.
Some me Provinces are sliding away from fee-for-service, reducing the onus; others are providing paid admin time.
Our son is a F-D & ~4 days worth of patients requires ~1 full day of *Provincial* paperwork to get paid. That is *unpaid* time in most provinces.
Look at how many provinces (mostly all RW ones, BTW) have manipulated increases in federal HC funding to redirect to general revenue/deficit reduction.
