Struggling with pneumonia, looking for a fun distraction. What former game or event would be a good YouTube watch? Baseball, hoops. Hockey, concerts...

I was fortunate to see Dick Allen play one of the last games of his soon to be Hall of Fame career there 6 weeks later for the A's. He wore "Wampum" on his jersey nameplate. A few days later I was at Tigers Stadium witnessing Mark Fidrych's electric 1977 debut. That story (and another) is attached.
My mom and I listened to the pennant clinching game against Cleveland on the radio. Bob Elson with the play-by-play. Soon after, Mayor Daley set off the sirens and many Chicagoans thought Russian missiles were on their way!
One of the most fun things I did during Covid was watch old “this week in football” episodes. There’s also a “this week in the AFL” series. They’re on YouTube.

Or, maybe since some of us are biased, baseball-wise, the Bangles live at the Syria Mosque is preferable.
