what gets me the most is the idiosyncratic, bespoke request.
work-wise, well, i don’t know—it doesn’t really create work for the candidates (a click on interfolio) and recommenders should eventually write letters, no?
I'll stand by my remark, even though it's irrelevant to the context. ☺️
If I ever came across those kinds of demands for an IT role, I'd walk away in a second.
