Honestly? Super paper mario. Kid me never really read, so I couldn't figure out the god damn button you needed to even get past the desert to the dragon, made me hate it. Also, mario party on the wii. (The kart one), that one made me throw a wiimote at the tv as a kid. (I had no self control)
I’m fine with the dungeon crawling mechanics, but the loyalty system they have for demons is pretty broken. Demons have 1 of 6 temperaments that prefer certain attack patterns. Ask them to do something different enough times and they’ll head back in the comp…in the middle of a fight…
Ahh, ik the system. Yeah, after a certain point you just hit up the bar and get them pissed, but until then ik the frustration, like over leveled Pokémon but on steroids
Yeah. I have let’s plays of SMT1-3 up (tried if, but had to shelve it) and none of the systems have ever really given me as much trouble as Soul Hackers. Love the story, even appreciate the Masahiro Sakurai character in it…but that system needed a bit more cooking.
That systems dead in the water now I'd reckon, everything's all press turn which... I love don't get me wrong! But there's just some charm about the originals... Like stunning Thor with shock bullets
Sim City 2013....waited ten years for a sequel to Sim City 4, only for EA to kill the series by making Sim City 2013 have constant online gameplay and the maps being so small you couldn't build much.
Bayonetta 3, I was already starting to get annoyed in Bayo 2 that chapters were specifically curated to showcase the latest weapon and then they herd you into the next weapon showcase without letting you really get a feel for it. Then add traversal mechanics to weapons and a bad story and blegh.
