Can I just point out that privatising this sector was a monumental mistake. When the gov ran the show, we at least had a chance of honest info and a fair deal.

Just restating this bc there's a new "just shop around!!!!!!!!" thing out today: it is actively helping the gas industry - the people who are rolling around in profits because they're causing the high prices - to just dump the responsibility onto the shoulders of energy consumers
