I'm good with small talk. But that's the rub; it should be small. Light. Long comfortable silences. I don't like feeling interrogated or judged for leaving a peaceful life.
I sort of hate going to the dentist for teeth cleaning because the technician wants to chat the whole time. But I sort of love it cuz I have to hold my mouth wide open the whole time and I can’t say anything back to her.
For some extroverts, it's how they form community. We introverts know we have a community =when we are in need= but have (mostly) trained them to at least ask. 😁
