Something I'd like to see more of in scifi is smaller and mid-size ships. Kind of over comically large vessels.

Like the guild highliners in dune size feels correct for something bending space.
I’m all for different variations of ship sizes, but do prefer large ships and the fighting scenes they have 🤓
But some of the later ships like the Ent-F and other ones in Picard are just too damn big.
Most people would have just congregated at 10 Forward because you’d go most of the day not seeing anyone!
But since you invoked Discovery, THAT ship was too big!
