My mother, aunts and uncles, and grandparents came as immigrants back when there was a system in place for welcoming immigrants. Never was easy, but it was legally protected and systematized.

This is an absolute horror story. Desperate people. No mercy. The return of cruelty with some added sadism- just because that's what he wants. It's vile. I'm sad, angry and most of ashamed I'm a citizen in this country that used to be the US.
