From a person with a full viral load, your chances of contracting the virus is like 6%. It only takes once, so there is definitely a risk. A 6% failure rate means that for every 100 plane rides six would crash. Prep is 99.996% effective. So you have to multiply 6% by 99.996%

6% times 99.996% is 0.000599976%. And this is for each occurrence. It doesn’t mean that you have to have sex with 10,000 men to contract HIV. Each occurrence is separate. This number is statistically zero.
Also, these numbers are from memory, I didn’t go look them up so I am probably off.
