I once had an argument with some about about Suicide Squad (2016). They say it was a captivating experience and set up the characters nicely while I absolutely despised the film for how over the top and nonsensical it is. Apparently they thought I didn’t like a diverse cast in a film and I’m stupid

They weren't terrible, but it's the same problem every adaptation outside of the comics has. Just rush through all the material to end it quick so they can go back to zero for the next time they reboot Spider-Man.

I, for one, adore the venom movies. They're campy, schlocky and fun. They're not meant to be cinematic masterpieces and they're not trying to be. They know what they are. You especially get that in the second and third movies. I can understand not liking them but still...

One was fun and I liked it, I liked most of the second but it fell apart in the third act. Haven't watched the third one yet but I've heard enough to know I'll at least mostly enjoy it
