This setting was very clever. Trump was in a very unfamiliar setting. Whoever placed the chairs is genius. He wouldn't have been able to do anything but listen. Just proves under pressure, he always buckles. Short time later, he posts his most anti-Putin post ever. Will he stick to this? Probs not.
There's something incredibly stupid, disrespectful and insensitive for Trump to meet within St. Peter's Basilica (!!!) at the funeral of the Pope for making war plans. He can't say it wasn't deliberate. There's pre-setup photographers, secret service and such. There were hundreds of places in Rome.
The photo of trump with Zelensky, Stamer and Macron is being portrayed as some great thing. It’s not, it’s trump realising he’s being left out and needing to be the “big man”, it’s him (or his people) realising that America is being left out and if did nothing it would be a joke.
Yes he spoke to Zelensky in private (and made sure the cameras were there) but he’ll do nothing to help, it’s not just him, it’s his whole administration that’s pro Russia. They will simply lie to him and not comply
In private? I was thinking that's a very strange place for a meeting about war. Why just two chairs in a huge space...didn't they have any actual rooms available?
That blue suit was a slap on the face of a Holy Man on the day of his funeral. The entire world population was watching on the TV and half a million people saw "it" at the Vatican. Disrespectful!!!
