We all know which way the wind blows right now ... but we still need educated public servants who can provide daily weather forecasts, severe storm warnings & climate monitoring; which affect fishery management, coastal restoration & marine commerce.

I am now hearing from multiple folks in the past two hours (including some who have personally been fired) that mass firings have now commenced within NOAA--including, yes, at the National Weather Service.
