We’re staying out at my parents’ place, near where the Beyond the Valley music festival is. The usual country quiet is currently being punctuated by a thundering DOOF! DOOF! DOOF! DOOF!

Looks like I’ll be entering 2025 the same way I left 2024: very, very tired.
