Then Talker hit the streets and opening up that album jacket was such a fucking surprise. The folded piece of ruled notebook paper and seeing the lyrics and all of the weird little scrawls that meant SOMETHING was like trying to understand ancient hieroglyphics.

Then I got a chance to see them in The Entry, opening for Royal Trux. The stuttering and building, only to collapse and start again, to either antagonize or delight the weirdos in the audience. Al preening and posing, strutting and slashing. A man in full command of his domain.
