Chuuya did not attempt to argue with Dazai about his independence and how he could manage just fine on his own. He would do anything to never witness the panicked look on Dazai’s face again.

Dazai was to him and their child. Never once would Dazai snapped or felt annoyed when woken up. Nothing but adoration and sleep shined in the man’s eyes as they landed on Chuuya. Gentle hands handled him with care as he was guided to the bathroom. +

After the three of them lied down once more, Dazai would wrap his arms around Chuuya with a sleepy smile. Without fail, Chuuya would fall asleep to whispers of reassurance and pride. He could get used to this.
