I don't know what you're looking at, but every time there's been an ACTUAL protest action on things like the USAID closure or otherwise, people have showed up to support. There's been a pademic, a *whole lot* of demoralization since then, due in no small part to massive inaction from the people with institutional power. Not an excuse, so much as an explanation. People need to see their elected representatives fighting, too.
