We are trying to buy a car at a large dealership in Alabama. The salesman was supposed to call us back this morning. We left a message. His excuse when he finally called. He was celebrating the inauguration. He was met with silence.

Oh—I asked him about Trump’s tariffs since it’s a VW. He repeated, “They are built in TN.” Me, the parts are from overseas, even oil filters. (VW is proprietary.) He said the tariffs didn’t effect VW last time. Hubs stopped me before I “educated” him about trump tariffs “last time” vs 2025.
