To be clear, this isn't backed by any organization. I am sharing my ideas with anyone who will listen. I have been feeling so helpless since the election and the felt the need to DO something! I have been inspired by the protests in other countries for us and realized we need to do something here.

This action doesn't need to be loud, we don't need speakers or t-shirts. It's a simple action, not buying anything on Wednesdays, and it can be done all across the country. It is showing up by not showing up! Simply not buying anything can be powerful if we all do it on the same days!

Probably just as well my credit card got hacked so I’m cash only. Sort of puts a giant crimp in compulsive shopping. That can only be a good thing.
