Not so much now but, yes, in rural areas like us, they do. Our local bar just has the one toilet for everyone.

"There is no law anywhere in Britain mandating that toilets be segregated"... so why don't we label toilets for their contents, not who can use them? 'Urinals, Cubicles etc. Then they won't be 'single sex spaces'. Then over time build in one or two self contained rooms instead of stalls where poss.

And of course walking disabled people using the disabled toilets will become an even bigger target than previously as it will be assumed they are trans.
