every now and then i think about what i think is maybe the most incorrect riddle i've ever heard: "what Shakespeare play has a scientific error in it" and the supposed answer was Twelfth Night because it has identical twins of opposite genders

i guess such scientific wonders as "donkey head TF" and "three witches summoning a floating head who tells you the name of your eventual killer" are more based in evidence than the Unscientific Magic of androgen insensitivity syndrome
and yeah i know AIS isn't necessary for identical twins of opposite genders, you could also just have Viola or Sebastian be trans. actually huh my friend used to crush hard on a trans guy named Sebastian and now i'm wondering if that's where he got the name
it's a cool name. hey, if any trans dudes are reading this and still deciding on a name, consider Sebastian. don't worry about the hordes of people who will call you a crab and ask you to sing "Under the Sea." it'll be worth it
back to the main topic, one of my friends wrote a story once in which the main character leaves her abusive boyfriend and ends up with his transfem identical twin sister, and i think that's extremely based, and we need more of that
uh, we need more of that in fiction, i mean. like if you're a dude with a transfem identical twin sister, please don't start abusing your girlfriend. if you're dating an abusive man with a transfem twin, then uh, definitely leave him but at least do your research before coming on to his sister
like, in case she's even worse, right? i mean *chances* are that she's better especially if they're estranged because trans people are usually victims of abuse as opposed to perpetrators but like, trans abusers still exist. i won't name names, i'm sure you can think of at least one
