I think all platforms turning into store fronts (a nicer term than "enshitification" but same phenomenon really) is a likelier reason than simply fragmentation.

I see more engagement on Bsky and more referrals (You don't see it in the analytics).

FYI: You can directly post the link to your post here; you don't need to add an image. Bsky does not punish you.

Plus, Atproto is open, so building a following here is the only way to go if you do it again, IMO.

We share the same feeling. I quit FB years ago, and I rarely use Twitter nowadays. I'm thinking about removing my account from there. I never used TikTok or Threads. Instagram is only for non-IT-related stuff (concerts and mountains for me). But in general, I'm happier when I don't use any of them.
