I admire your scientific skepticism! So, I did a Google search: "Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart has topped the list of the best-selling CDs of 2016 with a disc released just five weeks ago. According to Billboard, Mozart sold a total of 1.25 million CDs in 2016, beating Drake, Kanye West and Beyoncé." 1/2

The Google search was a bit misleading (surprise!). It said "a disc." In reality, on Mozart's 225th anniversary, there was a new release of his complete works - 200 discs in a box! So, each purchase got you 200 CDs, and they sold a total of 1.25 million individual disks. 🎵🤑
