I always change my clocks because wrong time bothers me immensely but for the first time in my life I had to figure out how to change my ricer cooker clock because I can finally afford one of those fancy ones.
Power outages are frequent enough that I can reset the oven and microwave before coffee is brewed. Coffee auto brew timer still needs to be updated before tomorrow though
I hit Wikipedia to make sure I wasn't misremembering this. Indiana had sort of the worst of both worlds from 1960 thru the mid-70s. The eastern half was EST with no switch to EDT & the western half was CST / CDT. So for half the year, the whole state was on the same time & half the year it wasn't.
I have completed the ritual of changing the microwave clock and the oven clock as quickly as possible so they only show different times for a couple of seconds each minute. I'm part of a niche sect I admit.

But respect for the Oven Clock folk!
