The way I see it, what kept billionaires relatively safe so far is most of them were at least smart enough to hide their exercises of power via various mechanisms.

I feel like if we've got a guy straight-up saying "Ratfuck this bill or I have my PAC primary you," it's gonna hit a bit different.
