Exactly, Dems were focusing on plans to help people buy a new house, rein in price gouging, bringing back more manufacturing, making higher education more affordable. It was Repubs who kept bring up up culture war issues because they know how easily manipulated by fear and hate Americans are.

Problem was the barrage of lies from the right & the gullible who believed them. Borders weren’t open, Trump tanked the bipartisan border bill, Haitians weren’t eating pets, schools werent performing trans surgery, FEMA wasn’t ignoring disaster victims, babies weren’t executed after birth, etc etc.
