The problem will be processing new claims & survivor benefits because of lack of personnel.
You may be talking about disability benefits.
Retiree payments which are directly deposited are automated & will not be affected. New claims probably will be delayed. It’s a problem but not for retirees who are already getting their benefits.
My family will greatly suffer because my husband and I depend on our checks. I have a pension, but it only is half of my income.
1. Shave a billion off the military budget.
2. Let Trump's tax breaks for the rich lapse which will free up FOUR TRILLION.
