Question for anyone who uses Bandcamp. Is there a way to message individual people that buy something or is that a Pro feature? I get the notifications and they show up in my dashboard but i haven't found a way to just respond back, didn't see it on the app/mobile either #bandcamp #questions - ThreadSky

As far as I can tell, you have to use the app to respond. If there's a way to do it thru the website, I haven't found it.

You can also see how many streams you get from people who own your music via the app, too.

And maybe other stuff you can't do thru the site.

Doesn't it tell you their email address when they make a purchase? It might email it to you.

it does, but the only way i've been able to respond individually through email is by personal email which seems like bad conduct because the person technically doesn't know who it's coming from unless your email/artist name are the same i guess

There’s a csv export of sales data under tools or dashboard - can’t recall exactly where. But it includes email addresses.

i'm able to find people's info but from a crunch perspective it's really inconvenient/ineffective for the working artist (like if you have 5 individual single purchases in one day, times 7 that are all from different people)
