What I've kept thinking about with these panels today is the kindness of Jiao, mirroring Iris' earlier in the story. A choice to move forward (and forgive, it would seem), while still wanting to engage with her about the harm and the wrongs she did.

AHHHHH I'm so glad you pointed it out!! I wanted that to be a core part of this comic, for Jiao to forgive Iris but still hold her accountable (in the nice, gentle manner Jiao would do it!) but admittedly it was very difficult to cram that into only 14 panels! Thank you so much for noticing 🥹🫶
