Trump’s Panama Canal threats are baseless. The 1977 Torrijos-Carter Treaties gave Panama full control in 1999. The U.S. has no legal grounds to reclaim it, & attempting that would require military action—something the U.S. would never resort to, even if a Commander in Chief orders it. Duh.
