Former FM Mark Drakeford signed off on 8 SEZ/2Freeports with Sunak.
According to the Govts website free zones were a devolved matter with no obligation for devolved administrations to adopt them…

Can you make the breakdowns a bit more clear ? You say 48 SEZ’s in England but the total if you add the regional breakdowns is 58. Freeports only add up to 4.

Will be interested to see how they play out too - I’m just about to drive down to my mum’s house which overlooks one of the Suffolk sites and I know the context for at least two of the others enough to know that they are pretty unsaleable sites…

The public are being led down a dangerous path here. They need to be made aware of what is happening. There seems to be very little discussion or public consultation going on and even less in the mainstream media.
SEZs are part of Labour's plan to create super regional councils and must be stopped
