My sense is that most of us in science now have at least some institutional guidance on how to cope with latest round of proclamations. I hope you're able to refocus today despite the uncertainty, good luck.

We’ve gotten no direction yet- only been told that “it’s coming later this week.”
It’s Wednesday afternoon.
If anger -> work the "How to Be Outraged" chart https://lindsaybraman.com/anger-to-activism-flowchart/#description
If fear -> work a SCARED checklist
1. SC - Security Check
2. A - Assessment
3. RE - Risk Evaluation
4. D - Decide what to do right now
2. Assessment - how bad are our current circumstances? We use modified DEFCON levels to know when our situation has escalated. It helps.
4. Decide - get to work. Each hour, I try to refocus by thinking "I can't do my work unless..." & then fixing that.
