Start with the understanding that there are 340+ million people here, and only 77k voted for that fucker. Voter suppression is a *massive* problem in a lot of states. But, whatever. Millions of us are going to die because of this already, may as well add another log to the fire and get it over with.

it’s extremely frustrating seeing the harm being done to everyone there and not being able to see a way out of this due to the people in high office being yes men and billionaires. I have friends over there so I am aware of the issues and not minimising them.

I do get it. I really, honestly do, and it makes sense. It's just...we're so scared and it's extra terrifying to see how fast so many people are turning against us and writing us off because we're being taken over by a minority faction and just...we're so damned scared.
