This was my intro to the mighty Welsh band, Man. They've been sometimes referred to as the Welsh Grateful Dead, y'know, cuz they jam. If you haven't heard them, I totally recommend this, Live at the Roundhouse 1976, which, sadly, was a farewell after which the band broke up. They did reform in 1983. - ThreadSky

And if you pick up ANY one of their 1970s albums, you will be pleased. But 'Back Into the Future' is a super sick double album, with one record studio and the other live. And the live record features their best recorded live version of their concert staple C'mon, which clocks in at a stellar 19 mins

But then you'd have to check out the next one, Rhinos Winos and Lunatics, on which the great Deke Leonard returns to the band, after being absent on the last two outings, and produced by Roy Thomas Baker.

And then you'd need to dig into the 1975 live album, Maximum Darkness, which has the already incredible Man guitarists Micky Jones and Deke Leonard...joined by Quicksilver Messenger Service's John Cippolina! There is so much greatness to hear with any/all of Man's 70's output.
