Too many people claim the football hall of fame is too full of people who don't belong. The fact Aaron Rodgers is going in is sad. He won 1 super bowl and did some good footballing in his life but seriously. As too Eli, he broke all Giants records, won 2 bowls. I could see putting him in

I think the hall of Fame should be about more than just stats sometimes, like it's hall of Fame not hall of stat leaders. Eli should get in by virtue of those two rings, the first denying the perfect season. It was an iconic Superbowl with great plays.

What should count for it? Something socially unfathomable but comes true. Like donating the other half of their life and money to cancer or becoming an ambassador. I know a lot of players charities but consider it if there was a chk list? Super bowls def! Wins total. Two stats i care about?

Remember, that's the year 9/11 had just happened. It was a powerful moment. Americans are so far from that now. Anyways, that was a crazy end to a insanely brutal year. On that note, maybe we'll all get lucky and the Eagles will win and spoil KC at least. That poses a tough question though.

Sterling Sharpe’s chance was glossed over a bit in an otherwise great story. He was the next best receiver to Jerry Rice—the WR GOAT—during his 7 seasons, making 1st-team All-Pro 3x between 1988-94 (Rice made it 6x; no other WR made it more than 1x, including HoF’ers Cris Carter and Michael Irvin).

Bradshaw was 1st Team All Decade for the 1970s. And 4 rings. The game through 1977 totally favored defense and running.

Better QBs while Eli played. Brady. Eli’s brother. Brees. Rodgers. Rivers better in regular season.

The list of QBs makes even a better case for Eli. He beat the GOAT twice head to head for his rings.

Nick Foles Superbowl stats are nearly identical to Manning and he played in one less game. Eli does not belong in the Hall.
