Also that mannerism of capitalizing every words is just, drive me mad.
it just make it hard to read, and impossible to distinguish names, capital letters have a very specific purpose.
It sucks so bad cause I feel like there was a time when SEO editors discouraged vague headlines? Am I imagining that or did Google just stop caring about that, too???
“Here’s what makes cult classic Solium Infernum the perfect game to play while waiting for Civ 7” would have made me 10x more likely to want to read! And that’s just a garbage too long headline I thought about for all of 5 seconds!
Speaking as someone in games journalism, somehow there's an extra layer of insult in form of calling it a "4.5/5 Game" in the headline. In over a decade, I have never seen anything like that in a headline before to describe a game as acclaimed. It's not even their score, for all that is holy!!
We have had so much shitty clickbait in the past 10 years that I just developed the behavior of never even clicking on these anymore. It's just not worth my time
