This isn't about anything other than replacing labour costs and runaway capitalism. I'm not surprised it's being championed. Like I've said, it's had billions of investment but not for altruistic reasons. People who could really benefit from it aren't even represented. That says it all.
Hi, I 100% agree with you. The problem I have is discussed here is that I think #Disabled people are being shut out of what ought to be assistive tech NOT replacement tech. I think I’ll stick with my manual, human-driven work with MobyGames, The Internet Archive, and Redump. I’d love to get involved with other initiatives, but AI isn’t going to do a good job with any of this work. What a waste of time and resources… Phil keeps making himself out to be a real bellend. 🙄
