board games used to be a huge pillar of my job! I reviewed them, wrote about them, even tried and failed to get a vertical started on kotaku for them

i used to play fortnightly. now im lucky if i play a game every six months

pubs can't afford to send me games anymore and i cant afford to buy them

Yeah, there are a few last Kickstarter campaigns I have left to have fulfilled from last year, but I've stopped backing any more. I have enough games of different genres that anything on market is far too expensive for not a huge variety in play.
